Abstract： In 2OO4，the Shanxi Provincial Institute of Archaeology excavated and cleared fourteen tombs in the northern part of Wuchi Village，Nanliang Town，Yicheng County，Linfen City，inorder to cooperate with the construction of the Linghou Expressway，including eight brick chamber tombs and six earth cave tombs.Thebrick chamber tombs are all Jin Dynasty tombs，while theearth cave tombsare from the Ming and Qing Dynasties.The preservation of Ming and Qing tombs is relatively poor.This article mainly introduces the excavation of brick chamber tombs in the Jin Dynasty.The excavation of this batch of Jin Dynasty brick chamber tombs has high reference value forthe study of tombs of the same period and type，and provides more materials for the funeral customs of Jin Dynasty tombs in Yicheng area.
