Abstract:This study adopts numerical methods to investigatethe heat transfer and flow resistance characteristics of sinusoidal flying-wing fins(FWFs),aiming to improve theircomprehensive heat transfer and flow resistance performance.Numerical simulations offins with different heights and spacings were conducted using Computational Fluid Dynamics(CFD),and an optimized FWF simulation model was established.Under a specific wind speed,the effctsof varying finheightsand spacings onthe heat transfer eficiency,flowresistancecharacteristics,and friction factor of FWFs were discussd,and their Thermal-Hydraulic Performance Parameter (THPP)was evaluated.The results show that when the fin height is 12mm and the spacing is 1.5mm ,the FWF exhibits the optimal thermalhydraulic coefficient with a THPP of 3.13, representing an 8% increase compared to the initial shape.
