Abstract：Dong embroideryisanimportantbranchofChineseminorityembroideryandoneofthecarrersofDongculture.ConstructingtheculturalgeneticmapofDongembroideryandcaryingoutitsinnovativedesignandapplicationareconducivetopro motingtheinheritanceofintangibleculturalheritageandcontinuing thehistoricalcontext.Bysummarizingandsortingouthedata ofDongembroiderytechiques，thepaperclassfiesandprocesesthemindetailaccording totherecessiveanddominantcultural genes.The nedlework，paterns，colors，structuresandculturalconnotationsare sortedouttoconstructaculturalgene mapof DongembroideryBasedonthedistinctivefeaturesofDongembroideryextendeddesigniscarredoutandinnovativelyapplied totextiledesign，providingmorediversifiedmethodsfortheintegrateddevelopmentofintangibleculturalheritageandmoderndesign.ResearchshowsthatconstructingaculturalgenemapofDongembroiderycancomprehensivelyanddeplyreflectheultural characteristicsofDong embroideryand providenewideas forthe modernand innovative designofDong embroidery.
