Abstract：InHanDynastybrocade，variousimmortalbirdsandauspiciousbeastswerecommonlyseen.Academiccircleshave discussedtheirtypes，shapesandlayouts，butfewhaveinterpretedthemwithintheculturalcontextoftheHanDynasty'sworship ofauspiciousnessThispaperadopts thesemioticaalysismethod，selectsHanbrocadesamplesfromtheChinaNationalSilkMuseumandrelatedstoricalmaterials，estorestheepresentativepatersoftheblueagon，whiteiger，iliandveilionird， andcombines theimplicationsoftheFourSpiritsoftheHanDynastytoanalyzethecharacteristicsandculturalfunctionsofthe auspicious paternsinthebrocade.Researchhas foundthattheauspicious spiritsinHanDynastybrocadeareconsistentinshape withtheFourSpiritsportraitsofthesameperiod，indicating thattheybelongtothesameculturalsymbolicsystem.However，in brocadepeopleuseconciselinesandcolorblockstosummarizetheSpiritimageandemphasizethedepictionofdynamicsandcharm，therebypreciselyconveyingthecorrespondingculturalconnotation.Fromtheperspectiveofsemiotics，thisstudyinterprets theauspiciousandspiritualpatternsinHanDynastybrocade，providingnewacademicinsightsforadeperunderstandingoftheir cultural connotations and artistic value.
