ABSTRACTPlantsof the Isodon genusareanimportant sourceofterpenoids,withtheirconstituents exhibitingrich structural diversityandremarkablebiologicalactivities(uchasnticancer,antimicrobial,andanti-flammatoryproperties),emostrating significant potentialinthefieldofimmunomodulation.Thisreviewsummarizesrecentadvancesintheimmunomodulatory mechanisms,developmentandapplicationofterpenoidcompoundsfromtheIsodongenus.Ithasbeen foundthatthesecompounds can modulate key inflammatory signaling pathways,such as nuclear factor-kappa B(NF- κB )and mitogen-activated protein kinases (MAPKs),thereby blocking thecascadeamplificationof inflammatory factors,aleviating chronicinflammatoryresponses,and correctingimmunedysregulation.Aditionaly,theycaninfluencethepolarizationdirectionofmacrophagesanddynamicaly regulatethebalanceamongdiferentfunctional subsetsofTcels,restoringimmunehomeostasis.Theirlinicaltranslationfaces multiplechalenges,including poordruggability,alackof systematicsafetydata,theabsenceof precisepharmacodynamic biomarkers,complexities in clinical trial design,and unclear industrialization pathways.

香茶菜属(学名为Isodon,曾归名为Rabdosia)隶属于被子植物唇形科(Lamiaceae),该属的多种植物是我国民间广泛使用的中药,有研究证明,香茶菜属植物具有清热解毒、活血化瘀、抗菌消炎、抗肿瘤和治疗肝炎的功效[-2]。(剩余10799字)
