Construction and application of prevention and nursing plan for fecal incontinence-related dermatitis in ICU patients based on Delphi method

Abstract Objective：To construct a prevention and nursing plan for incontinence related dermatitis in ICU patients based on Delphi expert inquiry method，and explore its impact on incontinence related dermatitis in ICU patients.Methods：120 ICU fecal incontinence patients admitted to Yancheng NO.1 People′s Hospital from April 2021 to April 2023 were selected as the research subjects.They were randomly divided into a control group and an experimental group，with 60 cases in each group.The control group received routine care，while the experimental group received a preventive care plan for ICU fecal incontinence related dermatitis based on Delphi expert inquiry method.Compare the degree of perianal skin injury，severity of incontinence related dermatitis，and incidence of incontinence related dermatitis between two groups of patients.Results：The authority coefficients of the two rounds of experts were 0.865 and 0.889，respectively;the Kendall harmony coefficients for two rounds of inquiry were 0.389 and 0.474，respectively （P<0.05）.The intervention study results showed that the degree of perianal skin injury，severity and incidence of incontinence related dermatitis in the experimental group were lower than those in the control group （P<0.05）.Conclusion：The prevention and nursing plan for incontinence related dermatitis in ICU patients based on Delphi method can reduce perianal skin injury，alleviate the severity of incontinence related dermatitis，and reduce the occurrence of incontinence related dermatitis.It standardizes the nursing procedures for incontinence related dermatitis in ICU patients.
