The impact of pre-rehabilitation on postoperative recovery of patients undergoing laparoscopic cholecystectomy：a Meta-analysis

Abstract Objective：To systematically evaluate the impact of pre-rehabilitation on postoperative recovery in patients undergoing laparoscopic cholecystectomy（LC）.Methods：Computer retrieval of studies on the application of pre-rehabilitation to LC patients from CNKI，VIP，CBM，WanFang Database，PubMed，EMbase，Web of Science，and the Cochrane Library.The retrieval time was from the inception to June 4，2023.Meta-analysis was conducted on the included studies using RevMan 5.4 software.Results：A total of 6 articles were included，including 501 LC patients.Meta-analysis results showed that pre-rehabilitation had an impact on the incidence of postoperative complications in LC patients（RR=0.50，95%CI 0.33-0.76，P=0.001），postoperative anxiety score（SMD=―1.04，95%CI ―1.31-―0.77，P<0.000 01），postoperative depression score（SMD=―1.04，95%CI ―1.38-―0.71，P<0.000 01），length of hospital stay（MD=―0.41，95%CI ―0.64-―0.18，P=0.000 5），postoperative first time of getting out of bed（SMD=―0.43，95%CI ―0.66-―0.19，P=0.000 5），postoperative 6MWD［MD=47.44，95%（38.19，56.69），P<0.000 01］were better than the control group.There was no statistically significant difference in the first postoperative anal exhaust time between the two groups（P>0.05）.Conclusion：Current evidence suggests that pre-rehabilitation can reduce the incidence of postoperative complications in LC patients，improve anxiety and depression，shorten hospital stay，and shorten the first time out of bed activity after surgery.However，there is still controversy over the intervention effect of postoperative first anal exhaust time.
