Summary of evidence on improving home care ability of cognitive disorder caregivers

Abstract Objective：To systematically evaluate the best evidence that can improve the home care ability of caregivers with cognitive impairment，and to provide evidence-based evidence for improving the home care ability of caregivers with cognitive impairment.Methods：Computer searches were conducted on BMJ，UpToDate，Joanna Briggs Institute （JBI），NICE，SIGN，GIN，NGC，Guidelines International Network library of guidelines，Yimaitong，the Cochrane Library，PubMed，EMbase，Web of Science，CINAHL，CBM，CNKI，WanFang Database，VIP database，Alzheimer′s Association website，and other databases and website resources.Incorporate clinical practice guidelines，systematic evaluations，evidence summaries，expert consensus，and recommendation opinions on improving the care ability of caregivers with cognitive impairment over the past 5 years，and conduct screening and quality evaluation.Combine professional judgment to extract evidence and summarize it.Results：19 articles were ultimately included，including 2 guidelines，5 expert consensus articles，10 systematic evaluations，1 clinical decision-making article，and 1 recommended practice article.Finally，a total of 31 pieces of evidence were formed in 4 categories （9 themes） to improve the care ability of caregivers with cognitive impairment.Conclusion：This study integrates the best evidence for improving the caregiving ability of cognitively disabled caregivers at home，providing evidence-based support for specific practices，helping to enhance the caregiving ability of cognitively disabled caregivers at home，and improving the quality of life of patients and caregivers.
