Impact of intervention plans based on acceptance and commitment therapy on cancer patients：a Meta-analysis

Abstract Objective：To systematically evaluate the impact of acceptance and commitment therapy on the intervention effect of cancer patients.Methods：The randomized controlled trials on the influence of acceptance and commitment therapy on cancer patients in databases such as CNKI，WanFang Database，VIP，CBM，EMbase，the Cochrane Library，Web of Science，CINAHL，and PubMed were retrievaled by compuer.The retrieval time was from the inception to March 31，2023.Perform Meta-analysis using RevMan 5.3 software.Results：12 randomized controlled trials were ultimately included.The Meta-analysis results showed that the intervention plan based on acceptance and commitment therapy can improve the psychological flexibility of cancer patients（MD=―2.25，95%CI ―2.84-―1.65，P<0.000 01） and quality of life（SMD=―5.36，95%CI ―9.38-―1.34，P=0.009），reduce depression（SMD=―1.37，95%CI ―2.08-―0.57，P<0.000 01） and anxiety levels（SMD=―1.19，95%CI ―1.80-―0.59，P=0.000 1）.Conclusion：Current evidence suggests that acceptance and commitment therapy are beneficial for alleviating anxiety and depression in cancer patients，improving psychological flexibility and quality of life.
