Reading Promotion Practices Between Jiangsu and Tibet Under the Framework of the Chinese National Community: a Case Study of the “Spring Rain Project”

AbstractIn the context of buildingthe Chinese cultural community,the promotion of universal reading has been entrusted withthe important misionof promoting cultural identityandethnicunity.This paper takes the“Spring Rain Project’reading promotionactivity,jointlycarriedoutbyNanjing Library inJiangsuProvinceandpublic libraries in the Tibetregion,asanexample.Addressing theissues exhibited inthe“Spring RainProject”,this paper explores the specific practices,main chalenges,andoptimization paths in universal reading practicesbetween Jiangsu and Tibet fromthe perspectivesof librarycollection resource reconstruction,intelligent infrastructure construction,bilingual resource integrationandreadingexperienceoptimization,and cross-regionalcooperation strengthening.Theaimis to further strengthen the sense ofcommunityof the Chinese nation while ensuring the inheritance of ethnic culture and a diverse yet unified patern,and to promote the sustainable developmentof publiccultural services in ethnic areas.
