Retrospect and Prospect of Domestic Legal Studies on Library Law Since the Founding of the People's Republic of China

AbstractThis paper employs the literature colection methodology to conduct a systematic review of the evolution of research on thedevelopment of the legal system forlibraries in Chinasince theestablishment ofthe People's Republic of China in 1949.The research evolution is described in four main phases： the incipient exploration phase， the foundation-laying phase，the rapid development phase，and the gradual maturation phase.Building upon this analytical framework，thearticle prospects futureresearchorientations，contending thatadvancementwillmaterialize acros four primary dimensions： temporal extension，domain expansion，systemperfection，and perspectivebroadening. This inquiry endeavors to furnish both theoretical insights and practical benchmarks for subsequent scholarly inquiry and implementation pertaining to the development of the library legal system in China.
