AbstractWith therapid developmentof metaverse technology,thelibrary field is facing unprecedentedopportunities fortransformation.This paperdelves into thecurrent statusanddevelopmentpotentialofmetaverse technologyandits application in libraryservices,including technologicalintegrationand innovation,contentconstructionandoptimization, service design centered on user experience,and strategies for cooperation and joint construction.Through the analysis and discusionof thesekey areas,thearticle shows how libraries can use metaverse technology to enhancetheir service capabilitiesanduser experience,and the importantroleoflibraries inknowledgedisseminationandculturalinheritance. Thearticleemphasizes thatlibraries need toactively explore metaverse technology to innovate service models to meet the diverse needs of users and promote the development and transformation of library services.
