Abstract:Withtheincreaseinenginehorsepoweandaveragespeedofhavydutyommercialveicles,hydraulicretardersaccount for >80% of long-distance transportationtractors.Atpresent,thematchofthehydraulicretarder isaccording tothefitnessof braking abityasedonttheedmensiosofauiaryraingpeformanceeconomyndnise,tmatcngcontrolofhdraulitaderis cariedut,andthenoiseandeconomyofthevehiclecanbeimprovedonthebasisofensuringtebrakingperformanceofthehdraulic retarderbymatching theappropriate speedratioandoptimizing the downshiftspeedof theretarderandthefanspeed.
