Abstract: Against the backdrop of artificial intelligence (AI） being fully integrated into journalism，the deep alignment of AI with sports journalism has become increasingly evident. This study focuses on the multifaceted challenges arising from the convergence of AI and sports journalism within the intelligent technology landscape， encompassing dimensions such as technology， ethics， society， and industry. To address these issues， the study proposes strategies including clarifying the division of roles between humans and machines， cultivating interdisciplinary professionals， strengthening self-regulation and external oversight mechanisms, and fostering a deeper sense of social responsibility. These approaches aim to promote the efficient and responsible application of AI in sports journalism, deliver higher-quality， in-depth and empathetic news products to audiences while enable the sustainable development of the industry amid the AI wave.
