Abstract:TheTopTenTributarisRegionisharacterizedbyfragilecosstemsandseverewatersarcity,hichhavebecocorechaen geffectingeogicalprotendgqualitevelopntinheeloiversineaditioalocptsofatesousnly focusonsurfcewater(.g.iversndlaks)andgroudatertataredectlyessibletoumans,hileoverloingsoilaederived fromprecipitatio,ichonstitutesthepriarywatersouefvegetatioIviewofis,genealiedwatesoucstofraork hadbeenproposdtobeaktroughthliatiosoftaditioalatersoucesootatios,focusigoeateratvegetatiooulddirectlyutilidicopoatislwatetatvgeatioouldfilyutliteateyofatersousBuantifgthdy namicreltioshipbetwnvegetationgrowthandnaturalwatercyle,thedlmmaofwatersortageinaridandsem-aridcosystesould bsolvedTisoreialfraerkeidttsisfgeatingaaityfoucsideasdlt theoretcalframeworkfordyamicbalanceofwaterresoucesbycouplinghydrologicalprocees,olwaterstoragecapacityndetation adaptabilty.Wedproposdanologicalostructionstrategbasedoefingecologicalpatebyate,stablisdaoingte forwaterresogacityndfulatddftaedeatiooatioplasdaeuilaiotoly paths.Basedoegealidatesousteoodsfudametaloretcalakthoghsndprctcaltisfoeaio constructionintToTTbutarisRegionandlsoprovdsimporantsientificupportandparadiggudancefocieigiguality development in the Yellow River Basin under the rigid constraints of water resources.
