Abstract：SincetheoperatioofXialangdiReservoi，theanualsedimentadeteringintoteYelowRiverestuaryhasdereasdto6 millontos.However，undertheelativelabundantwaterconditiosfromO18toO1，theapidilationoftheiverchaelaftersco ringandtheextensionoftheriverlengthhaveapproachedthemaximumvaluebeforetheflodseasonin996.Thedisappearanceofthe stablebranchtatlastedforOyearsfterthefodseasoninO4andtheappearanceofmultiplelargescalebrachsonbothsidefte sandspitindicatethattheQingbachaChannelhasenteredanustablestage.Inacordancewiththenaturalfeatureoftheestuarycael avulsionneartetidalzeboundaryitisecommededtompleentthesultaeousfloofteingsigouCaelandteaokouhe ChannelinthYellowRiverestuary.TheconstructionofGuxianReservoirwillmakethewaterandsedimentconditionsenteringtheestuary favorableforsimultaneousflowinthefutureperiod.Underthedesigned waterandsedimentscenario，diverting12.5bilion m3 of water for the Qingshuigou Channel canachievea slight balance betwen erosionandsedimentation.The Diaokouhe Channel diverts9bilion m3 ，and by digging and maintaining a 375 m wide main channel，it can achieve a flow rate of 2000m3/s without siltation. Simultaneous flow is conducivetoraisingcialwaressofprotetooftkoelatioalingtespatialdistrbutiofdt，singte proportionofdimenttrasporedtohpanducingtedcotrolpresueonthurentQingsigouCael.eple mentationofthesecificplanonsiderationsouldbegiventotepotentialimpactoneecologicalflowofQngshigouChanelndthc ological water volume in the nearby waters.
