Research Overview of Capacity Planning and Scheduling Operation for Multi-Energy Complementary Systems

Abstract:Thehighproportionofnewenergintegrationintothepowergridposessignifiantchallengesforteoperationofpowrsystes. Multi-energycomplementaryschedulingasbcomeanfectiveapproachforintegratingnewenergysources.Thispaperelaboratedthechar acteristicsofmulti-energycomplementaryscheduling,andintroducedelevanttheoriesandmethodsfromfouraspectsofnewenergypower forecasting,uncertaintyuantifcationofindndsarowerapacityofguratioofultieergoplementarysytesndulin ergycomplementarysheduling.Intersofnewenergypowerforecastinganduncertaintyquantification,thispapersummarzdphsical methods,statisticalmethodsandombinedforecastingmethods.Theprobabilisticanalysisobustintervalmethodsandscenarioanalyis methodswereintroducedtoquantifyteuncertaintyofwindandPVpower.Regarding tecapacityconfigurationofulti-energyopltarysystems,thepaperputfowardcapacityplanningmethdsbasedontraditionalpowerplaingandflexibilityasessment.UsingtheYelow RiverBasinandtheYalongRiverbasinasexamples,thecapacityplaning theoriesforhydro-wind-PVcomplementarysystemsaswellas hydro-wind-solar-storage systems for large-scale basins were summarized.
