Abstract：Inthereporttothe2Oth National Congress of theCommunistPartyof China，General SecretaryXi Jinpingput forwardforthefirsttimetheoriginal judgementthat“theCPCmustalways stayalertand determined to tacklethespecialchallngesthatalargepartyliketheCPCfaces”.Sincethisjudgment wasputforward，thedomestic academics haveconducted extensiveand in-depth discusionson the scientificconnotationand significant meaning，the formationcauseandthesolutionsof the“specialchallngesofalargeparty”.Atpresent，someachievements have been made in theresearch，butthereare stillproblems such as repetitive research results，insuficient research methods and narowresearchperspectives.Inthefuture，todeepentheresearchonthespecialproblemsofalargeparty，itisnecessary toexpandtheresearchfromtheaspectsoftexturalresearch，comparativeresearch，empiricalresearch，rossdisciplinary research，and methodologyresearch.
