Abstract：The ThirdPlenary Sessionofthe2Oth Central Commiteeof theCommunistPartyofChina put emphasis on“improving people’squalityoflife”，whichhighlights thepublic’srightoenjoyabeautifulecologicalenvironment. Thisunderscoresthatecologicalrightsarecrucialforpeople’swell-being.Inthenewera，theintegrationofsocialist ecologicalcivilizationandhumanrights protectionhasmadetheprotectionofecologicalrightsakeypillarofChina's ecologicalcivilization.Ecologicalrights encompass thebasicrighttosurvival，therighttogreendevelopment，and therighttosustainabledevelopment.Theserights embodythedialecticalunityof individualandcollectiveecological interests，theequivalencebetweenecologicalrightsandobligations，andtheintegrationofmoral governanceandlegal governance.Aproperunderstanding and strengtheningofecologicalrightsand interests intheneweracan help builda beautifulChinawhere humansandnaturecoexistharmoniouslyenhance people'ssenseofgain，happines，andsecurity in ecological matters，and create conditions for the free and comprehensive development of individuals.
