Abstract: Performance of three sweet cherry varieties, Tieton, Summit and Brooks,in Wanzhou, Chongqing, China. The results showed that there was no significant difference in were studied single fruit weight,fruit shape index,acid-sugar ratio,and edible rate; soluble solids content was significantly higher in Brooks and Tieton than in Summit; fruit hardness was significantly higher in Tieton and Brooks than in Summit; anthocyanin content was significantly higher in Tieton than in Brooks and Summit; titratable acid content was in the order of Brooks, Tieton, and Summit; total sugar content was significantly higher in Brooks than in Tieton and Summit; peel and flesh were significantly higher in Brooks than in Tieton.The total sugar content of Brooks was significantly higher than that of Tieton and Summit; there were significant differences in peel and flesh coloration. The principal component analysis results for fruit quality indicate that Tieton and Summit have higher fruit set rates than Brooks,while Brooks fruit quality is superior to that of Tieton and Summit.
