The occurrence and control of diseases and pests of fruit trees in Shandong Province

Abstract: Shandong is one of the major fruit-producing provinces in China, however, the diseases and pests seriously affect the yield and quality of fruit trees. In the paper, we investigated the current occurrence status of fruit tree diseases and pests in Shandong Province, analyzed the problems existing in the current prevention and control work. Moreover, the comprehensive control measures and suggestions for future trend of development were proposed, aiming to provide a reference for the sustainable development of the fruit tree industry in Shandong Province.
