Analysis of theLDA Theme of Game Cross-Cultural Communication Videos from thePerspective of Framework Theory and Other Shaping:ACase Study of Black Myth: Wukong

Abstract:Asan emerging global medium,games have become anew path for cross-cultural communication by virtueof interactivenarativesand symbolic expression.Based onoverseas YouTube bloggers’interpretive videosof the Chinese game Black Myth: Wukong,this paper employs TF-IDF word frequencyanalysis,LDAtopic modeling,and social networkanalysis,and—combined with communicationtheoryandthedigitalmediaenvironment—analyzes the “other-construction”frameworkofChinesecultureinthese interpretations.Thestudyfinds thatoverseas bloggersoften relyon exaggerated visual imageryand simple oppositional storylines to translate complex culturalconnotations.This low-context communication mode,while expandingaudiencereach,also faces thechallnge ofcultural depth loss.At the same time,platform algorithmsandtraficorientation alsoinfluence the cross-cultural communicationof games, causing typicalcultural symbolstobecome thefocusofdissemination,whiledeeper philosophical ideasarerarely mentioned.This study aims to explore the efectiveness of Chinese traditional culture's global communication through games,providing reference for related practice.
