Abstract:The leftand rightthread stirring was used to carry outfriction stir welding of 60o5A-T6 aluminum alloy profiles,andthe influence of the thread rotation directionof the stirring needleand the rotation directionof the spindle on the welding defects was studied.A multi-field coupling calculation model of friction stir welding was established byABAQUS,andthe flowof plasticmaterials inthe weld nugget zoneand theformationof welding defects in the friction stir welding processwere simulated and analyzed.Theresults show that the simulation results are in good agreement with the test results,and the reliabilityofthe simulation is high fortheholedefects inside the weld.Under the condition thatthe shoulder thread remains unchanged,the right-handed thread stir pincan obtain a high-quality welded joint without welding defects,while the welded joint welded bythe left-hand thread stir pin producesa hole defect at the bottom of the joint,and the hole defectat the bottom of the nugget area becomes larger after changing the spindle rotation direction. Numerical calculations were used to predict that the lefthanded threaded stiring needle could not obtain a welded joint without hole defects under diferent welding process conditions.

搅拌摩擦焊(FSW)作为一种先进的绿色环保固态焊接方法,拥有焊接热输入量小、接头性能强度高、残余应力小、无需填充材料及焊接效率高等优点,已广泛应用于轻轨、地铁、城际列车及高速列车车体制造过程中[1-3]

搅拌针的结构设计是至关重要的环节,在焊接过程中,焊核一直处于高度波动状态,搅拌针的尺寸及轮廓会影响搅拌金属的搅拌能力及流动行为,从而影响焊缝的外观和接头的力学性能,其中螺纹的结构形貌是关键因素之一。(剩余4561字)
