Abstract:To conduct artificial propagation research on Hemibagrus guttatus,the effects of different incubation methods and temperatures on the hatching performance of its embryos were thoroughly investigated. Additionally,observations were made on the embryonic morphology at various development stages within the Hongshui River system.The results indicate that fertilized eggs of Hemibagrus guttatus are spherical,yellow,with a diameter of 2.8~3.5mm . Under water temperature conditions of (28±0.5 ) °C ,embryonic development lasted 65h34min with,an accumulated temperature of 1822.8∘C⋅h , Seven developmental stages were documented: fertilized egg,cleavage, blastula,gastrula,neurula,organogenesis,and hatching. Among incubation methods,the combination of hatching barrels whit incubation frames achieved the highest average hatching rate of (75.00±3.15)% .The optimal incubation temperature for Hemibagrus guttatus in the Luodian County section of the Hongshui River was determined be 27~29°C !
