Abstract： Pectinidae are a representative species of marine mollusks and one of the globally significant eco nomic species with a large-scale farming. Pectinidae grading serves as a crucial step in Pectinidae cultivation，primary processing and pricing. To comprehensively examine the research status of Pectinidae grading standards and equipment both domestically and internationally，this study synthesizes existing literature from two perspectives-grading standards and grading equipment—in light of Pectinidae applications and market demands.It explores the strengths and limitations of manual，semi-automated，and fully automated equipment in Pectinidae grading applications，and proposes recommendations and solutions to address existing challenges，aiming to advance innovation in Pectinidae grading equipment，enhance grading eficiency，and promote high-quality development of the Pectinidae industry.
