Abstract： Chinese - style modernization is deeply rooted in the fine traditional Chinese culture. Strengthening the dissemination of the fine traditional Chinese culture is an important guarantee for establishing cultural confidence and realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. This study employs research methods such as literature review， interview，and logical analysis to investigate the dissemination mechanism and path of traditional sports culture of nomadic ethnic groups empowered by the metaverse. The research analyzed the connotation of the metaverse empowering the sports culture of nomadic ethnic groups，explaining that the enabling effect of the metaverse on the traditional sports culture of nomadic ethnic groups forms a complete closed -loop system through memoryinheritance - innovation - dissemination，which is manifested as memory：from vanishing to eternal“digital archive”，inheritance： from limited to boundless“immersive classroom”， innovation ： From the traditional to the future“creative experimental field”，communication ： a“boundless amplifier” from the regional to the global. The dissemination paths of traditional sports culture of nomadic ethnic groups in the process of Chinese - style modernization have been proposed，including educational approach： promoting the digital inheritance of traditional sports culture of nomadic ethnic groups，field approach ： enhancing the immersive experience of traditional sports culture of nomadic ethnic groups， and industrial approach：creating an industrial engine for traditional sports culture of nomadic ethnic groups.
