This paper summarizes the new design paradigm andhuman-machine co innovation mode of empowering traditional handicrafts  with digital intelligence for redesign . Digitized design not only changes t h etraditional process of handicraft design and  production，but also emphasizes the core role of designers in humanmachinecollaboration. The results reveal that designersare not  only users of technology， but also drivers of theinnovation process and t ransmitters of cultural values.
