Abstract：Inordertounderstandtheresearchhotspotsandtrends inthefieldfwatertreatmentprocessimulation，217paperson watertreatmentprocssimulationfromOtoO23weresortedoutusingCKIdatabaseastheliteratureretrievalsource，andvisualizedusingCiteSpace.Theresultsshowthat2OO3-2O19wasaperiodofrapiddevelopmentinthefield，withfluctuatingtrendsnthe numberofpublications.Duringthe23years，therewere11coreuthorswiththeInstituteofAutomation，ShenyangItituteofChinese AcademyofSiencsasteostifuentialseachinsttioThecollborationntworketeenutorsdinstitutiossoweddis persedaddiversifieddevelopment.Theresearchhotspotwastosimulateandanalyzethetreatmentprocessofwastewatercomposite procesesusingsimulationtechnoogy，therebyimprovingthewastewatertreatmentefectandacievinginteligentcontrol.Watereat mentprocesimulationresearchisgraduallshiftingfrombasicresearchtoappliedresearchndinthefuture，moreemphasiswillbe placed on integration with engineering practice.
