Abstract:Itisofgreatsignificanceforthesustainabledevelopmentofnuclearscienceandtheprotectionoftheenvironmentto treatanddisposetheradioactivewastegraphitewhichproducedinthereactorsafelyandefectivelyHowever,therearestillany technicalandscientificproblemstobesoledinaspectoftreatmentanddisposalofradioactivewastegraphitesafely,andthreisno matureengineringcaseforreferenceinteworldThisorksystematicallintroducesthetreatment,preparationanddisposaltech niquesofadioactivewastegraphiteintheworld.Theadvantagesanddisadvantagesofeachtechnologyrouteareanalyzedintermsof economy,policyenvironmentandpublicacceptance.Althoughthetreatmentnddisposalofrdioactivewastegraphiteisetreely difcult,ithasbecomethemainstreamtrendintheworldtoeducetheadioactivitylevelofastegaphitebyvarioustreatenteans. Themethodaimstoemovelong-livedradionuclidesasmuchasposibleafterthepreparationstep,ndthenchoosedisposalstrategies accordingtolocalconditionsThisstudycanprovidesomereferencetechnicalroutesforthetreatmentanddisposalofradioactivewaste graphite and offer prospects and suggestions for the subsequent experimental researchand engineeringdevelopment.
