Abstract Objective: To explore the potential class and influencing factors of exercise compliance in patients after radical resection of lung cancer. Methods: Convenience sampling method was used to select patients who underwent radical resection of lung cancer for the first time in the thoracic surgery department of two tertiary grade A hospitals in Nanchong city from December 2022 to May 2023.The Exercise Compliance Scale, the Chinese version of the Cancer Self-Management Efficacy Scale(C‐SUPPH),and the Lung Cancer Scale of the Cancer Patient Quality of Life Measurement System were used for investigation. The latent class growth model was used to fit the trajectory type of exercise compliance. Logistic regression was used to analyze the influencing factors of different types of trajectories. Results: The exercise compliance in patients after radical resection of lung cancer was divided into 3 categories, included medium ‐ level slowly rising-falling group with 39 patients. high ‐ level rapidly rising ‐ falling group with 29 patients, and low ‐ level stable group with 110 patients. Regression analysis results showed that working status, medical payment method, postoperative treatment method, quality of life, and self ‐ efficacy were influencing factors of class of exercise compliance in patients after radical resection of lung cancer( P<0.05' ). Conclusion:The exercise compliance in patients after radical resection of lung cancer has obvious classification. It suggested that medical staffs should implement targeted intervention measures at appropriate times to improve the development trend of patients′ exercise compliance,to maintain and to improve their health by adjusting their own behavior.
