Abstract Objective: To construct a training system for the teaching ability of surgical clinical teachers in tertiary grade A hospitals based on the OBE concept.Methods:Guided by the OBE concept,based on literature review,semi‐structured interviews,Delphi expert inquiry, and analytic hierarchy process, the content and weight of each indicator of the training system for the teaching ability of surgical clinical teachers in tertiary grade A hospitals were determined.Results:A total of 19 experts were consulted.The effective response rate of the questionnaires in two rounds of inquiry were 100% . The expert authority coefficients were 0.867 and 0.871, respectively. The Kendall,s harmony coefficients were and 0.129-0.218 , respectively (P<0.05 . The finally training system for the teaching ability of surgical clinical teachers in tertiary grade A hospitals included 7 primary indicators, 24 secondary indicators, and 57 tertiary indicators. Conclusions: The constructed training system for the teaching ability of surgical clinical teachers in tertiary grade A hospitals based on the OBE concept has good scientificity,practicality,and pertinence.And it could provide a reference for standardized training of surgical clinical teachers.
