Abstract Objective： To construct a training program for specialist nurses of chronic respiratory diseases， so as to improve the management level of chronic respiratory diseases and to improve the quality of life of patients.Methods：Based on Taylor′s behavioral goal theory and Hamric′s advanced nursing practice theory， the training program was constructed through literature review， semi-structured interview， expert group meeting and Delphi method. Results： The effective response rates of the two rounds of expert inquiry questionnaires were 88.24% and 93.33% ， respectively. The expert authority coefficients were 0.913 and 0.933， respectively. The Kendall′s coordination coefficients were 0.263 and 0.244 ，respectively（both P<0.001 ）.The final training program for specialist nurses of chronic respiratory diseases included four primary indicators： training objectives， training management training content， and assessment methods， as well as 19 secondary indicators and 71 tertiary indicators.Conclusions：The training program for specialist nurses of chronic respiratory diseases has high scientificity and reliability. And it could provide reference for the training of specialist nurses of chronic respiratory diseases.
