Abstract

AsChina's urbanization transitions from extensive expansionto intensive development，urban identity has become an important isse in current stage.Structural urbandesign，asone kindof“comprehensive”urban designatthecityor large-scaleurbandistrictlevel，should playanimportantroleinidentifyingandsustainingurbanidentity.Takingthe projectinJiangnanDistrictof Quanzhouasan example，this paper discusses themethodsofidentifyingand sustaining the localurban identities inthe structuralurban design.By studyingthe urban morphologyofroad networks，water systems，and community structures，the paper summarizes theurban identities ofJiangnanDistrictof Quanzhou，and then proposes the designstrategy tosustain thelocalurban identities，soas toconstruct spatialstructural frameworks for rational urban regeneration in the future.

1总体城市设计与城市特色塑造

总体城市设计是城市或城市中的较大片区在“总体”层面的规划设计范畴之一，在我国最早兴起于20世纪90年代，其核心是对整体城市特色、空间形态、实施机制等方面的研究[。（剩余12426字）
