Production efficiencyand trade-off/synergyanalysis of the multi-functions of theplanting industry with the targets of“yield，profit，and carbon emission"：a case study of Zhejiang Province

Abstract：Torevealtheproductioncharacteristicsanddynamicsof teplantingindustryinZhejiangProvinceundertheripledndsof "（higher）Yield，（more）Profit，and（less）Carbonemisson"，thesupereffciencySBMmodelwasusedtoevaluatetheproduction fficienyoftdusyatproviialdountyalesndtraeofalysisothalzatioofteiustr’slile functionswasconductedsubsequentlyfrombothtempralandspatialperspectives.Eficiencyevaluationresultsindicatedthatthe productioneficiencyofteplantingidustryatteprovcialleveldecreasedfroto1，ndenireasdcotiuoslyle endofthestudyperiod（2022）.Aboutonethirdofcounties（29）wereeficientintheplantingindustryin2O22whiletheinficient counties were mainlydistributedacrosstheJinqu BasinandtheWenhuang Plain.Thetradeof/synergyanalysisshowedthattemporaly trade-offrelationshipsexistedbetweenthe"Yield-Profit"functionsasellasetweethe"Yield-Carbonemision"functionsofthe plantingidustrilesergisticlaioshistedetweet"Profiarboissiofucs.eieldofitdbo emssiofunctionsoftheplantingindustrywereposivelyadspatiallycorrelateduetothestarkdiferencsinariculturalsource endowmentsamongcounties.Countieswithaplantingindustrycharacterizedbyhigheryields，moreprofitandlesscarboneisionswere mainlylocatedinorthenZejangwithrelativelyabundantagriculturalresource，hilecountiswithaplantingindustrycharacterzedby loweryields，lessprofitandorecarbonemissonsrealmostdistributedacrossthemoutainousregionofsouthernZhejiangandthe northeastislandswithporagriculturalresources.Therefore，local governments inZhejiangProvinceshouldlaymoreemphasisonthe developmentofgreenadlowcarbonagriculture，andtostabilizegainproductin，soastofurtrimprovethecomprehensiepuction efficiency of the planting industry.
