Effects of Different Substrate Ratios on Transplanting and Photosynthetic Characteristics of‘Benihoppe’ Virus-free Strawberry Tissue Culture Seedlings

Abstract: In order to improve the survival rate and quality of virus-free strawberry tissue culture seedlings after transplantation,this study used virus-freetisue culture seedlings of‘Benihoppe’strawberry as research object,with peat,vermiculite,perlite,andriversandas seedling substrates.By exploring the effects ofdiferentsubstrateratioson their transplantation and photosynthetic characteristics,suitable cultivation substrates were selected.The results showed that,the optimum substrate ratio for‘Benihoppe’virus-free strawberry was peat:vermiculite:perlite =4:2:1. The survival rate was 73.30% ,plantheight( 8.83cm )and stem diameter(O.65 cm) were the highest.The photosynthetic rate and SPAD were higher.Itcould provide data support forfactory seedling cultivation and substrate propagation.
