[Abstract] Three common paths are summarized for topic selection and organization based on big data analysis，communication through conference platforms，and mobilization of editorial staff. Key bottenecks and breakthrough strategies are analyzed under these three paths.The practical experience of SClENCE CHINA Technological Sciences is summarized，and the effective contributionof topic selectionand organization to the impact factor of the journal are explored，to provide reference and inspiration for the development of peer journals.Journal editorsneed to furtherexplore and innovate，research more strategies for topic selectionand organization，strive for broader academic discourse and brand influence，and contribute to promoting technological progressand academic exchanges.
