Abstract: Clarifying the currnt status and driving forces of vegetation Net Primary Productivity (NPP) changes in the Three-River Headwaters region can provide a scientific foundation and decision-making reference for future vegetation restoration and the dynamic adjustment of ecological projects.In this study,based on MODIS NPP data,we analyzed the vegetation NPP changes and its influencing factors in the Three-River Headwaters region using trend analysis,stability analysis,residual analysis,bias corelation analysis and geodetector,etc. The results showed that the overallNPP and the NPP of various vegetation types in the ThreeRiver Headwaters region exhibited an upward trend from 200O to 2O23,with an average growth rate of 1.38 g⋅m-2⋅a-1 C.Spatially,it displayed a distribution pattern characterized by higher values in the southeast and lower values in the northwest,with 97.92% of the region experiencing an increase in NPP,and the overall fluc tuation remained stable.Vegetation NPP in diferent areas of the Three-River Headwaters region exhibited varying response pattrns to temperature and precipitation,although temperature exerted a more significant impact on vegetation NPP in this region. Both climate change and human activities had positive effects on vegetation NPP in the Three-River Headwaters region,and the impacts of human activities on vegetation NPP were both positive after 2Ol8.In Factor-detector detection,the average explanatory power of altitude and temperature exceeded 50% ,while precipitation,land use,and population also demonstrated over 50% explanatory power in interaction-detector.
