Abstract:For young people with mental disabilities,having a stable job is an important way to improve their economic conditions and enhance their social identity. Currently,the employment situation for this demographic in China remains challenging,making the identification of pathways to enhance employment quality a key priority. Based on the actor network theory,this study constructs the employment network structure of youth with mental disabilities.By analyzing a case study centered on a parent-school community(Community A)as the core actor, the research elucidates the operational mechanisms and support measures within such employment networks. Theoretically,it establishes a logical foundation for youth with intellectual disabilities can achieve employment;practically,itexplores the factors contributing to their succesful employment.The findings provide both theoretical and practical insights to facilitate employment opportunities for this population.
