Abstract：Under the context of vocational and general education integration，cultivating profesional core competencies among upgraded bachelor'sstudents in application-orienteduniversities has become imperative. Vocational core competencies are characterized by adaptability，comprehensiveness，and essentiality.Current educational practices reveal three prominent issues：overemphasis on technical skils at the expense of holistic competencies，prioritization of theoretical knowledge over practical application，and disproportionate focus on institutional actors rather thancollborative partnerships.This study proposes a multidimensional pathway to address these challenges through：1） establishing an integrated vocational-academic embedded training system， 2）optimizing instructional design with competency-based learning frameworks，3） enhancing resource synergy
