Abstract：With the development of education foundations in application-orienteduniversities，public welfare project management has gradually become a critical component of foundation operations.Effective management of such projects should be thoroughly examined throughout their entire workflow，including project initiation， execution，evaluation，to feedback．From a process perspective，this study identifies the keychallenges in the management of public welfare projects withinapplication-oriented university educational foundations.It proposes strategic recommendationsacross five dimensions：1）optimizing organizational structures and management systems，2） establishing clasified hierarchical management mechanisms，3） standardizing process management protocols，4） strengthening financial auditingand risk control，5）developing intellgent information platforms. These suggestionsaim to enhance the operational efficiency and sustainability of public welfare projects while providing actionable insights for improving project management frameworks inapplication-oriented higher education institutions.
