Abstract:With therapid increase in thescale of new energyinstalations,theroleof thermal powerunitsin grid peak regulation has become crucial.Swiftandprecise predictionof the duration of the“startup-grid connection”processfor thermalpowerunits is esentialfordispatchers topromptlyadjust gridoperation status.Toaddress thecurrntrelianceon human experiencefor predicting the durationof the“startup-grid connection”process,this paper proposes amethod for predicting the durationof this processfor thermalpowerunits.First,thestartup-gridconnection processof thermal power units isanalyzedtoidentifykeyoperational parametersateach stage.Then,logicalcalculationsare leveragedto predict the duration of the“startup-grid connection”process.Resultsofapilot testonatypicaluniton the“Net-Source platform” indicate thatthe proposedmodel canaccurately monitor the response stateof theunitsduringthe“startup-grid connection”process and succesfully predictis duration.This method provides timely decision support for dispatchers, helping to ensure the safety and stability of grid operations.
