Abstract[Objective]Inordertoexploretheplantingmodethatachievesthebestsoybeanandmaizeyieldandeconomicbeeftsin HongjiangCityMetod]In224,astudyontheldandconomicbenefisofsobeanandcostripintercropingaconductedbytak ingthelocalraditionalmonoculturemodelofsoybeansndcoasacontrol.Result]Thewholegrowthperiodofsoybeanandmaieplants werebothincreasedby3dayswithstripcompoundplanting,comparedwithtraditionalplantingpate.Plantheightofsoybeanandmaize plants were increased by 11.8 and 10.7cm with strip compound planting,compared with traditional planting pattern,respectively. Meanwhile,thisresultindicatedtatnumberoffectiepodsperplant,umberof grainsprplant,andhundedgrainweightofsoybeanwithstrip compoundplanting weresignificantlyhigerthantatof traditioalplantingpate,whiletheumberofgainsperow,singlearweight, grainweightperar,andundredgrainweightofmaizeplantswithstripcompoundplantingweresignificantlyhigherthanthatofradtional plantingpatem.Theyieldofsoybeansandmaizewithstripcompoudplantigwereobviouslyhighertantatoftraditioalpntingpae, yield of soybean and maize with strip compound planting were increased by 15.24% and 5,65% ,total output value and total net income with strip compound planting were increased by 9.28% and 37.35% ,compared with traditional planting pattern,respectively.[Conclusion] It was anbenefitplantingpateforiprovingyieldandconomicbenitsofsoybeaandmaizewithstripompoundplantinginthehillreasof central Hunan,China.
