AbstractTo cultivate applied talents with innovativeconsciousness and practical hands-on ability,the application foundation of the three-level teaching modelof“cognition,practical training,hands-onoperation”introducedin the Bioinformatics course of Plant Protection major was analyzed,and carriedout teaching reform practice.Theapplication foundation includes three levels.Atthecognition level,students mainlylearn the basic theoretical knowledge to cultivatetheir interestin learning;;atthepractical training level,cultivatepracticalabilities throughcaseanalysis, simulated data operations,and other methods;atthe hands-on level,cultivate the ability to solve problems through innovative experiments,scientificresearch projects.Intermsof teachingreformpractice,integratingprofesional theoretical knowledge atthecognitivelevel,constructing interdisciplinary knowledge systems,and innovatingteaching methods;strengthenpractical skilsatthepractical training level,design training projectswith plantprotection characteristics,improve training facilitiesand teaching staff;promote interdisciplinary innovationpracticesatthe hands-onoperation level,facilitate theintegrationof scientificresearch projectswith learning,andparticipate in interdisciplinary competitionactivities.Inaddition,adopting diversified evaluation methods,emphasizingoutcome based evaluation,introducing studentself-evaluationand peer evaluation,and establishing acomprehensive evaluation file. The practical results shows that the teaching reform has produced good results,with 90% of students proficiently mastering the practical operation skills ofcommonlyused tols in thecourse,such as sequence alignment,evolutionary tree construction,andtheuseofbiologicaldatabases;a totalof16 studentteams have apliedandbeenapproved for the university level innovation training program basedontheir course learning achievements.Thisarticle provides references forcultivating more high qualityand information-based inteligent plant protection talents.
