Effects of three rootstocks on fruit quality in ‘Jintao‘kiwifruit

Abstract:【Objective】Theefects ofdifferentrootstocksonfruit qualityin'Jintao’kiwifruit were investigated.【Method】 'Jintao'asscions weregraftedonActinidiadeliciosa,A.ChinensisandAhemsleyana,thendetermineandanalyzethe fruit quality indexes of‘Jintao'.【Result】'Jintao’graftedonA.hemsleyana hadtheheaviest fruit weight,yellw flesh with highercolorbrightnessItsfruithasahighcontentofcarotenoids,which is2.32times thanthatonActinidiadeliciosaand 1.13timesthanthatonA.Chinensis;italso hasarich contentof vitaminC,which is1.28 timesthan thatonA.deliciosa and1.68timesthanthatonA.Chinensis.【Conclusion】A.hemsleyanaasrotstock increased the fruit weightofJintao kiwifruit,increasedthebghtnessofthefleshcreasedthecontentofarotenodsndviaminC,andimprovdtefruit quality,which provided theoretical supportforscreeningandcultivating new excellentrootstocks fromwildkiwifruit germplasm resources in the future.
