Resistance evaluation and resistant germplasm screening of potatoes against blackleg

Abstract:【Objective】In order to evaluate the resistance of potato germplasm resources against blackleg and screen disease-resistant germplasm,whichprovidesresistantmaterialsandtheoreticalbasis forresistance breedingand field diseasecontrol.【Method】Inthis study,in vitro tuberof 45potato germplasmresources were inoculatedand identified, theresistance of potato blackleg pathogens(Pectobacterium atrosepticum and P .parmentieri)were evaluated by optimizing the inoculationconditions.【Result】Theoptimized inoculation conditions of twopathogens were as follow:theculture temperature was 26% and the inoculation concentration was O.6~0.8 D600 .Among 45 tested germplasm resources,11 germplasm resources including 'Xinyihongpi' and'CIP392278.19' showed resistance to both P .atrosepticumPacl141and P.parmentier Ppxp3-1,accounting for 24.4% of tested potato germplasm resources.【Conclusion】 There are significant dierences intheresistanceof potatogermplasmresourcesagainst blackleg.Inthis study,11 potato germplasmesources were identifiedwith goodresistance totwo blackleg pathogens,which would provide basic materials forpotato resistance breeding and blackleg control.
