Abstract：Based ontheanalysisofthecurrent situationand problems faced byideologicalandpoliticaleducation in colleges and universities，this study proposes the unique advantages of using physical education courses to carryout ideological and politicaleducationforcolege students.It pointsoutthatthe physicaleducationcourses have the characteristicsofrichcontent，active form，andopen environment， which provide auniquecarrierandconvergence point for education.By elaborating on innovative practical approaches in physical classroom teaching， training competitions， and venue utilization，thearticleproposes ideas for improving ideologicaland political education paths in termsof teacher team building，system guarantes，and teaching evaluation.Research predicts that ideological and political education in physical education courses willsignificantly improvecollegestudents'ideological and moralcultivatioand socialresponsibility.It is an important waytocultivate qualified socialist builders and willalso promote therealization ofthe Chinese dream of the great rejuvenation ofthe Chinese nation. Ofcourse，educational ways and methods need to keep pace with the times and innovate， but as long as we adhere to Marxist gudance and talent training discipline， we will surely be able to create a new situation in ideological and political education.
