Abstract：Sports activities inancient China were diverse andcolorful，and they were an important partofancient Chinesecivilization.Thestudyofancient Chinese sports isof positive significance forunderstanding Chinese traditional culture and the history of ancient world civilization. Using the method of scientific knowledge map，this paper makes a visualanalysisontheuthors，research institutions，timeZonedistribution，co-occurenceandclusteringof675ancient Chinesesports research documents from1990 to 2O24，soasto understand thedevelopmentcontext，cutting-edge trend andresearch hotspots ofancient Chinese sports research.Through the analysis，we cansee that the theoretical studyon Chineseancient sports is in asteady growth stage; At present，a number of core authors and institutions have been formed in Chinese ancient sports studies; Through co-occurrenceand cluster analysisof high-frequency keywords，it is foundthat Chinese ancient sports activities，Chinese ancient sports culture and Chinese ancient sports history have become hot spots in Chinese ancient sports studies.Future researches need to pay attention to the crossintegration of disciplines，the expansion and innovation of research content and the comprehensive application of various research methods and means.
