Abstract:Micro lightemitingdiode(Micro-LED)displaytechnologyisconsideredapromisingcandidate forthenext generation display technologies due to its excellent comprehensive performance.Quantumdot(QD)color conversion scheme providesalow-costdesignsolution forful-colorMicro-LEDdisplay technologyand hasreceived widespreadattentionandresearch inrecentyears.Inaddition tothesynthesisofhigh-qualityQDmaterials,microscale integrationof QDs throughreliablepatterning technologyisalsothekeytobuildingcolorconversionMicro-LEDfull-colordisplaydevices. This paper provides a systematic overview ofQD paterning techniquesfor Micro-LED ful-colordisplays,including inkjet printing,photolithography,electrophoreticdeposition,transferprinting,microfluidictechnology,microporousfling, andlaser procesing.Meanwhile,this paper also discusses the performance ofQDcolor conversion layers prepared bythe abovetechnologiesandthecorrespondingMicro-LEDdevices.Finally,thispaperexploresthechallengesandfutureresearch directions facedbyQD paterning technologies in Micro-LED full-color displayapplications.
