Research progress on the application requirements of seamless steel pipes in underground salt caverns for energy and hydrogen storage

Abstract:Thisarticle takes undergroundsaltcaverns forenergyandhydrogen storage astheresearch direction,andstudies the aplicationrequirementsof seamless steel pipes in them.This includes the stringent requirements forseamless steel pipes in underground salt cavern environments,research progressonunderground salt cavemn energy and hydrogen storage, technological innovationand material researchanddevelopment progress ofseamlessstel pipes basedonunderground salt caverns,and future prospects for underground salt cavern energyandhydrogen storage and seamlesssteel pipes.Through research,it has been found thatthecomplexityof underground saltcavernstructures,high temperatureand pressure environments,corrosive environments,and energy and hydrogen storage conditions all imposevery strict requirementson seamless steel pipes.Inthedevelopmentofcompressedairenergystoragetechnologyandundergroundsaltcavernhydrogen storage technology,seamless steel pipe materialsandrelated technologies required forunderground saltcavernsshould be developed accordingly.Ihope that this analysis canprovidesome referene fortheapplicationofseamlessteelpipes in such underground salt caverns,in order to meet their practical application needs.
