Methods and practices for improving the efficiency of SDS dry flue gas desulfurization in gas fired boilers for gas power generation

Abstract:Gas-firedboilersforpowergeneration,fueledbyblastfurnace gasandconvertergas,producefluegascontaining substantial sulfurdioxide(SO)and particulate mater.Low-altitudeemissionsofthese polutantscontribute toatmospheric issues such asacidrainand haze,posing significantthreats toecosystemsand public health.To mitigateenvironmental impacts,this studycomprehensively investigates thecausesofloweficiencyinSDSdryfluegasdesulfurization.Through cost-efectiveoptimizationsofthefeedingsystem,pneumaticonveyingsystem,anddustremovalsystem,weaddresssodium bicarbonate (NaHCO3)agglomerationand pipeline blockages.These improvements elevate SDSdesulfurization effciencyby (20 11.2% ,effectively reducing SO and particulate emissons to meet regulatory standards while maintaining operational cost 2neutrality.
